| 1 | Repair, maintenance and making the continuity of supply after rectifying the defects of the electrical items such as light point, fan point, call bell point, socket point 5A/15A, switches, sockets, regulator, lamp holder, brackets, bell, buzzer, push button, batten, ceiling rose, pendent, any type of MCB's, DB's any type of light fixtures, any type of lamp, ceiling fan, exhuast fan, geyser, capacitor, replacement of fuse wires and all elcectrical accessories in day to day/door to door maintenance including reconnection with S&F small pieces of elctrical cable of size upto 10 Sqmm single core and length not exceeding 0.50m, complete all as specified and as directed.Note : (i) Any major items required to be repaired/replaced will be measured and paid under relevant items as supply only.(ii) Cost of labour for replacement/ attending five complaints in same building number will be treated as one job |
| 2 | Note for item No 01:- (a) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced to Engr-in-Charge before commencement of work. |
| 3 | (b) All bldg light complaints including service connection, sub main & internal electric for entire OTM and Md accn at CQAE shall be attended |
| 4 | (c) Record of complaints/complaint slip showing qtr No, bldgs No, nature of job supported with users signature shall be prepared as per format as directed by Engr-in-charge & will be deposited to concerned JE E/M within 24 hrs. |
| 5 | (d) All sort of petty T&P items such as PVC insulation tape, ladder, galvanised screws, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to deptt. |
| 6 | (e) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under. |
| 7 | (f) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent/ routine nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor shall be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 67 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. |
| 8 | (g) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding. |
