| 30 | Note for Srl Item No. 1.00 to 29.00(i) Any material such as lead, spun yarn, CI/GI/DI specials, lead joints, D-joints, mechanical/clamp joints, and GI piping accessories like sockets, bends, tees, unions, nipples, reducers, etc., required for attending complaints shall be measured and paid under relevant items.(ii) Complaints shall be attended and defects rectified by experienced plumber/pipe fitter with helper as directed. The plumber with helper shall report at the complaint cell daily by 0900 hrs.(iii) All complaints shall be attended and rectified within 08 hrs from the time of notification, failing which a penalty of Rs.100/- per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be imposed and recovered from the contractor’s dues. Contractor’s representative shall be available from 0800 hrs to 2000 hrs to receive and notify complaints.(iv) If a defect cannot be rectified within 08 hrs, the contractor/representative shall immediately inform the Engineer-in-Charge. If found justified, no recovery shall be made.(v) Cutting, welding, connecting and threading of CI/DI/GI pipes for insertion of fittings and specials are deemed included in the job rate. Fittings and fixtures shall, however, be measured and paid separately under respective items of Sch ‘A’.(vi) The pipe fitter shall always carry necessary tools such as die set with cutters, taps, pipe and chain wrenches, caulking tools, spanners, ladders, etc., as required at site.(vii) The contractor’s representative shall collect complaints daily from MES Maintenance In-Charge. Stationery such as complaint register, job cards, etc., shall be arranged and maintained by the contractor. |
| 31 | M&L for lifting defective submersible pump set along with column pipes (any number/any depth/any size) from bore well, setting aside and stacking column pipes for reuse, lowering the submersible pump set with column pipes in bore well as existing, and making necessary water and electrical connections for proper functioning, complete all as directed.\\"Notes:(i) Lifting/lowering shall be measured and paid only once for same nature of repair.(ii) Contractor shall attend and rectify the breakdown within 12 hours, failing which recovery @ ₹500 per hour shall be effected.(iii) In case the submersible pump set falls down during extraction/lowering/lifting, the contractor shall replace it with a new pump set of the same make and capacity at his own cost.
