M.S. Plates (Marine Grade, steel only) of 12MM/10MM/8 MM thickness will be used for renewal of platings. The M.S. Plates are to be of approved type for Ship Construction (No. IS 2062 350 BR). All supporting documents of steel to be submitted in Original. IACS approved (ESAB) welding rod to be used. Before commencement plate renewal certificate from manufacture to be submitted and a physical inspection of to be carried out jointly. (Test Certificate & chemical analysis report). |
| 11 | To remove the ‘D’ type Rubber Fenders from in and around the Ship side, crop the top & bottom holding plates including the stiffeners. To weld new flat bars of 10 mm thick X W-80 mm width including the triangular stiffeners at a gap of 10MM x 1 Mtr. and fit back new / old fenders in place with new SS nuts, bolts, washers (20 mm dia X 200 mm) as required.
