Materials removable without blasting, the soft rock shall be broken into maximum diameter of 300mm at location and then transported to disposal area. Disposal of excavated and surplus material up to distance of 4km from the nearest end of the excavation area. | 11 | Item No. A.4.1Earthwork in excavation in hard rock by diamond rope cutting. D-Cord blasting method (using appropriate blasting materials, with necessary safety precautions, and under the supervision of licensed blaster and/or agency and with due permissions from local authorities), pneumatic chiseling and/or any other suitable methods. The rock pieces shall be reduced to size of Not more than 300mm diameter and shall be transported for disposal area location as per instructions of EIC. Disposal of excavated and surplus material up to distance of 4km from the nearest end of the excavation area. The rate shall include all tools, tackles, supervision, transport and incidental expense, etc. The excavated materials shall be disposed off at the location as instructed by EIC, disposal of the excavated materials removed/extracted upto a distance of 4km radius as per instruction of EIC. The disposal material shall be appropriately graded in layers of Not more than 300mm layers and suitably levelled to a maximum height of 4m heap with side slopes of 1V:2H or as per instructions of EIC.supply and storing of the required blasting material as per statutory regulations, under the permission from concerened authorities and supervision of a licenced blaster to be employed by the contractor, stacking the blasted material in regular measurable stacks as directed by the supervising engineer or client. Generally measurements will be done based on the original rock levels and final rock levels.
