Performing pumping operation and valve operation/ plumbing works of water supply systems. Scope of work1. Pump/valve operation / plumbing works and minor repairs of pumps/valves/pipe lines by deploying qualified pump operator / mechanic/ plumber in three shifts and general shifts at water supply installations on rotation basis as per the instructions of the engineer-in-charge with valid certificate holders (preferably mechanic /pump mechanic /plumbing) from any recognized institution or with previous experience of handling the pumps /plumbing works.2. Periodical servicing and minor repairs of valves, pumps, fittings and water level gauges at UGRs and overhead tanks as and when necessary or as directed by the department in-charge.3. The spares for replacement shall be arranged by the Department which shall be made available at the sub divisions site office/ store for minor repairs like assembling, dismantling, loading unloading, replacement of gland rope, maintenance of valves, replacement of foot valve, lifting and lowering of submersible pumps whenever required and transporting the spares to the required work spot including all T&P etc. complete.4.
