| 1 | Felling of tree exceeding 30centimetre and not exceeding 100centimetre in girth and of any height by suitable means (Manually or Mechanically) with all safety arrangements, including cutting of trunk, branches, pruning / trimming of trunk, branches, grubbing up tree trunk including cutting of trunk portion from protruding over ground till digging out roots upto 60cm below natural ground level, cutting to standard lengths, stacking the cut timber in lots as directed by the Forest department for accounting, filling holes with earth and leveling off ground, depositing the approved stacked materials to the Forest department at the designated location / depot located at a distance exceeding 10kilometre and not exceeding 30kilometre by Contractor's own arrangement of transport and removing off all unserviceable material to a distance exceeding 5kilometre and not exceeding 10kilometre and depositing in low lying areas outside the MD land by Contractor's own arrangement of transport complete all as specified and directed.Note:1. All the materials retrieved from the tree cutting and other vegetation removed for creating workspace shall become the property of Forest department of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and shall be deposited to Forest department and receipt to be obtained and submitted to Engineer-in-charge.2. All debris and unserviceable materials shall be disposed off MD land as directed by Engineer in charge and Forest department.3. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account on a later date.4. The girth of trees shall be measured at 1metre above ground level.5.
