| 1 | Excavation in Hill area by manual/mechanical means:- Excavation in soil in hill areas all heights and depth in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock( where blasting is prohibited) including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto all heights and all leads as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformately with the requirement of technical specification of rural roads clause 1603.1 all useful material such as stone, shingle, aggregates& slate etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly. Any loss to the public and private property to during the course of execution shall be the absoulte responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. |
| 2 | Earth work in excavation for structure in all depth as per drawing and technical specification Clause 305-1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracin , removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal in all lead and lift including dressisng of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material . | 3 | Providing and Laying cement concrete for plain/reinforced concrete 1:4:8 (one cement: four sand: eight graded stone aggregate crushed 25mm (twenty five milimetre) nominal size mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundations complete as per drawing and MORD Technical Specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of transportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. |
| 4 | Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203. P.C.C grade M 10(1) (Mechanincal mix and vibrated graded crushed stone aggregate) 1:3:6 Including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts, as per PWD specifications and as per direction of Engineer- in Charge. |
| 5 | Providing and laying concrete for Plain/reinforced concrete in super structure complete as per drawings and technical specification Clause 800,,805,807,1205.4 and 1205.5 upto to 5.00mtr height .plain cement concrete grade M-30Nominal mix 1:1:1:5( 1Cement ,1 sand 1.5 stone aggregate) including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. |

| 9 | Providng and laying filter media with granular crushed aggregates as per specification to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and providng over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall, return wall to the full height, compacted to firm codition complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1204.3.8 including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 10 | Providing 100mm diameter poly Vinyl chloride pipe weep holes in brick/ stone / plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return walls with 100 mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V : 20H towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 614, 709 and 1204.3.7 including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 11 | Providing and laying flooring laid over cement concrete bedding complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1303 Rubble stone laid in cement mortar 1:3 including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals and as per directions of Engieer-in-Charge. |
| 12 | Backfilling /Filter media with granular material behind retaining wall/breast wall as per specification 1204.3.8 in a width of 600 mm. including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
