Taking out the L.T. sq. cage Induction Motor after disconnections of supply terminal connections including earthing terminal connection, from coupling end of 25/50 cusec vertical axial flow propeller pump after dismantling the same from the motor stool . The motor is to be kept on wooden sleeper at a suitable distance from the floor without damaging the earthing strips and cables etc. as per direction of E.I.C

Preliminary checking of the whole motor (LT sq. cage IM) and testing ofI.R. value, load currents, leakage factor of stator & rotor, terminal leadjoints of stator connection ends, insulation of glass fibre terminal bar,double cage rotor end rings and all of motor bars and bar joints, housingof D.E. & NDE shield bearing housing etc. before work to detect fault.

Finishing the end of terminal leads by S & F dowells copper socketsproperly supplying tapes, petrollium jelly etc. 6 nos.

i) Above 75KW upto 180KW LT sq. cage IM

ii) S & F of 395 mm. x 25 mm. x 25 mm. glass fibre bar for L.T.Induction motor terminal with Class-H insulations (Each motor consists of 2 nos. of bars).

DYNAMIC BALANCINGTrueness check ing & dynamic balancing of rotor. (Certificate is to be Provided to Authority)

Refitting the pump motor (LT sq. cage IM) set with all its necessary coupling and accessories to its original position including fitting fixing with bearing housing non reversable rachet unit and pump shaft with proper tollerance and clearance and reconnection of terminal points the overhauling work i.e. cleaning of contracts sliping etc. (all connection strips, cable end are to be refitted in proper way including good damages of strip terminals) and satisfactory 2 hours trial run of the pump as per direction of E.I.C. for all pumping stations.

Complete Rewinding of stator of 180HP/132KW 415 Volt, 212 Amp. 3 Phase Induction Motor by CLASS-H (DUAL COATED) Super Enemal copper wire (Make : RAM RATNA/SHRAMIK Brand) after stripping out the damaged winding coils from the Stator Slots and cleaning of the each core slots properly, Re-insulates the slots by CLASS-H insulations, putting the newly made S.E. copper wire wound coils into the Stator Slots and insulations of the each coil (CLASS-H), to prevent short circuit between PHASE-PHASE and PHASE-EARTH. Taping the coil connection end with varnished Glass Tape. Jointing the bridge connection , batch connection and Terminal-end connection by silver-brazing process and insulation with Glass-Mica tape and Glass insulation tube. Heating the Rewinded Stator properly and varnishing with Dr. Beck's (ELANTAS BECK) ELMOLUFTHERM-H-71 and Epoxy GELCOAT(CLASS-H) varnish and Dried up the winding with slow heating process, develop the moisture proof I.R.-value and complete Rewinding works including supply of new S.E. copper wire (Dual coated/Kg. 112.320), All insulations such as NOMAX PAPER, VARNISHED GLASS TAPE, GLASS-MICA TAPE, GLASS INSULATION TUBE, GLASS FIBER WEDGES STICK, SILVER BRAZING STICK etc. for 180 HP/132 KW, induction motor.
