| 2 | Laying of one number armoured PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE multi core power cable of 1.1 KV grade of size 185 sq. mm or 240 sq. mm through direct in ground including excavation (of average depth 750 mm and 300 mm wide), sand cushioning in layers not exceeding 120 mm in depth ,providing standard burnt bricks as protective covering and refilling the trench with excavated soil as required. The indicated depth and width are approximate and may vary depending on the site requirement. Only supply of cables shall be in the FACT scope. |
| 3 | Laying and fixing of one number armoured PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE multi core power cable of 1.1 KV grade of size above 185 sq. mm and upto 400 sq. mm on wall / surface with clamping. The scope shall include laying, dressing, fixing on cable trays / cable trenches / culvert / racks / walls / columns / DWC HDPE pipes, clamping (50cm spacing), tagging, tying, drilling holes, minor civil work etc. All materials required for clamping and laying such as aluminium clamps, SS screws, GI bolts, GI nuts, GI washers, SS cable tags, etc shall be supplied by the contractor. |
| 4 | Cutting of asphalt road surface to a depth of 50 mm by manual or mechanical means and removal of underlying soil to required depth and width sufficient for easy laying of the DWC HDPE pipe of size 160 mm Dia (OD -160 mm and ID -135 mm nominal) . The scope of work includes Installation of DWC HDPE pipes throughout the length of road crossing. After pipe laying and cable routing, backfilling of available excavated earth soil shall be carried out. Ramming and compaction shall be done manually during backfilling to ensure proper consolidation. The contractor shall also provide standard concrete mixture and properly merge with road cutting edges. Surplus excavated soil and debris of bituminous surface shall be disposed as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 5 | Supplying standard sized concrete cable route marker as per the direction of engineer in charge with inscription there on duly engraved as \\"FACT UG CABLE\\" and fixing the same in ground as required for cable tracing. |
| 6 | Supplying DWC HDPE pipe of size 160 mm Dia (OD -160 mm and ID -135 mm nominal) ISI marked along with all accessories like socket, bend, couplers etc. conforming to IS 14930, Part II complete with fitting and cutting, jointing etc. in the existing trench, complete as required. |
| 7 | Supply of indoor end termination kit of size of 185 or 240 sqmm armoured 3/3.5/4 core PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE aluminum conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade.Acceptable make: Denson / 3M/ RAYCHEM. |
| 8 | Supply of indoor end termination kit of size of 300 or 400 sqmm armoured 3/3.5/4 core PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE aluminum conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade.Acceptable make: Denson / 3M/ RAYCHEM. |
| 9 | Supply of heat shrinkable type straight through jointing kits for armoured 3/3.5/4 core PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE of size 185 or 240 sq mm power cable of 1.1 KV grade. Acceptable make: Denson / 3M / RAYCHEM. |
| 10 | Supply of heat shrinkable type straight through jointing kits for armoured 3/3.5/4 core PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE of size 300 or 400 sq mm power cable of 1.1 KV grade. Acceptable make: Denson / 3M / RAYCHEM. |
| 11 | Indoor end cable termination with heavy duty Aluminum lugs duly crimped with crimping tool, PVC tape etc., for size above 185 sq. mm and upto 400 sq. mm of Armoured 3/3.5/4 core PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE aluminum conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade. All materials required (except termination kit) and a licensed cable jointer required shall be supplied/arranged by the contractor. |
| 12 | Providing straight through joint on armoured 3/3.5/4 core PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE of size above 185 sq. mm and upto 400 sq. mm power cable of 1.1 KV grade using heat shrinkable type straight through jointing kits.
