| 55 | M&L for detection of any type of fault in LT underground cable, laid in soil at plane area or forest area, with the help of Cable fault locator machine. Cable fault locator with carriyng vehicle and cable fault detection technician shall be provided by the contractor. Span of faulty cable shall be traced out by the technician by meggering LT cable. Note : (i) Detection of fault in one span of length will be measured as Each Job.(ii) Technicians will be employed by the working agencies. (iii) Excavation & Earth work shaill be measured and paid seperately.(iv) Replacement of cable & joints shall be measured and paid saperately.(v) Measurement & Payment shall be made only if the fault has been located & rectified. |
