Earth plate shall be surrounded by packed layer of char coal/coke & salt all around bottom and top with alternative layer. 20mm GI mediumt grade pipe for watering (should be 10cm above GL) and including socket, plug, funnel, wire mesh, RCC cover and (including steel for cover) PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) including necessary form work, excavation and earth work in any type of soil , returning filling and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, complete all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 (Part-I) complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) Earth continuity of GI wire 4 mm including protection pipe up to 7.5 mtrs from earth electrode will be included in unit rate, complete all as specified and directed. (ii) The rate of earth work in soft/loose soil i.e. excavation, returing filling and removal, form work is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iii) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.
