| 1 | Beaching of the 30 Ton Cap. Pontoon beyond the highest water level (preparing the site for smooth beaching of barge by providing the sufficient gradient, clearing all foreign materials from the site, bailing out of inside sea water etc. ) by using the multiple sleeve pulley wire rope arrangement using the hitachies as a power source to pull the barge, providing sufficient timber rollers in bottom side through out the width of barge, hauling the barge to the required position incluiding cost of all labour charges, cost of minor tools & plants, the hire charges of wire rope,multiple pulleys, D shackles, Jacks, LWC and GST etc., complete but excluding the hire charges of power source to pull the barge in to shore which will be paid separately . |
| 2 | Lifting the Pontoon to a height of not less than 90 cm packing the pontoon with proper size of timber beams/steel stand. The rate is inclusive of all labour charges, The cost of timber , or other materials required at site. The rate is inclusive of all labour charges, hire charges of jacks and other tools and plants, LWC and GST etc., complete. |
| 3 | Providing and laying timber cushion for the bottom plate of barge with standard hard wood in various sizes as per actual requirement at site and as per the instruction of EIC, after lowering the barge,the site is to be cleared immediately by removing the timbers/rubbish/garbage etc.The timber cushion are to be laid properly in layers longitudinally and cross wise as per the requirement for placing the bottom plate of the barge without any deviation. The timber provided for the cushion shall be got approved by the EIC.The work involves supply and transportation of timber, cutting & sizing into suitable length, loading and unloading, placing beneath bottom plate, hire charges of truck etc., complete.. The rate is inclusive of LWC and GST but excluding the hire charges of power source to push the barge in to water which will be paid separately. |
| 4 | Removing the water and sand deposit from the compartment of barge by using pump, cleaning the compartment by removing dust mud and other foreign materials, checking and assessing the condition of structural members. The rate is inclusive of all labour charges, minor tools and plants, exhaust fans, lifting arrangements, GST, LWC etc. complete. |
| 5 | Cutting and removing the damaged shell plate,structurl members of 30 ton Pontoon by gas cutting to facilate the fitment of new steel section as per the original dimension, transportation of scrap steel sections to the department store including the cost of all labour charges,gas cutting materials and hire charges of gas cutting equipment , GST LWC etc. complete. |
| 6 | Attending repairs to Barge structural members, shell plate, bulk head plate etc. with out any deviation from original shape by cutting & bending the IRS approved MS Plates, MS Angles, MS Flats, MS Channels etc., of various sizes and thickness as mentioned below, welding to the original structure through vertical and horizontal joints of double welded butt construction on either side with V- groove by using BIS approved welding rods and IRS approved qualified welders as per the instruction of E I C. Removing all the dust and scales from the newly fabricated steel section and applying one coat of synchromate primer of approved quality, including cost of following IRS approved steel Sections, hire charges of welding set, gas plant, surface grinder, buffing tools, cost of paint brushes, current charges, Hire charges of yard/work area, all port charges, all labour charges, LWC and GST, cost of IRS inspections & approvals, etc complete. | 7 | Removing all scales and dust, de-greasing the surface and there after attending painting to the 30 Ton Pontoon by applying one coat Zinc Phospate orange colour . The rate inclusive of all labour charges, cost of paints, painting materials, scaffolding materials, chipping hammer, wire brush and other minor T&P , LWC and GST etc complete (Inside surface only) |
| 8 | Removing all the scale and rust, de-greasing the surface by pickling in dilute hydrochloric acid and thereafter attending painting to the 30 Ton Pontoon by applying one coat Zinc Phosphate primer and thereafter applying Two coat High Build Black paint over the external area above water level area and finish black and deck green paint (Marine quality) over the outer shells and deck plate,Towing post, Bollard etc. The rate is inclusive of all labour charges, cost of paint, painting materials, scaffolding materials, chipping hammer, wire brush and other minor T&P etc complete. the rate is including GST and LWC (Outer Side surface only). |
| 9 | Providing and fixing of accessories like old u/s truck tyre fenders all around the pontoon, hanging with G.I chain at suitable position as per the direction of EIC. The rate is including cost of u/s truck tyres, transporting, cost of G.I. chain 16mm, D-Shackle etc. or any other items required the the work, cost of all labour charges for making holes other minor T&P, GST and LWC etc. complete. |
| 10 | Lowering the pontoon from the wooden packing, seating the same over the wooden/steel rollers, launching the bargeby step by step, checking the leakage if any etc. and towing the barge & berthing the barge at safer place at jetty. The rate is inclusive of all labour charges, hire charges of jacks, pulleys, wire rope and other T & P to & fro transportation of all materials to work site but excluding the hire charges of power source to push the barge in to water which will be paid separately.The rate is including LWC and GST. |
