| 1 | Attending Split AC / Window AC faults, physical inspection, testing and identification of faults of the faulty Split AC /WAC units (up to 03nos) including replacement of defective spare parts i.e. capacitors, relays, fans blades, temperature sensors/thermostats, plug tops, MCBs, PCBs etc. after removal of the faulty ones and restoration of the cooling system complete as required. (cost of materials will be paid separately). The payment will be made once only irrespective of nos. of visits for rectification of the faults of the same SAC/WAC units within 30days from the day of fault attending and restoration and the contractor has to attend the faults if repeated during the above 30days period at his cost and risk. (Field inspection/ Repair/ Maintenance/ Service reports as per Format - I duly signed by the Exchange/BTS/Bldg. in charge to be submitted for claiming payments). |
| 2 | Extra charges for carrying out the above activities for the additional Split AC/WAC units beyond the quantities as mentioned in item no. 1 above at same site/building or other site / building of the same station etc. as required. |
| 3 | General Servicing of Split AC /WAC units, by de-dusting the condenser and evaporator units with Blower & cleaning of the evaporator and condenser fins by brushes, cleaning the outer covers of indoor units, visual checking for any leakage at the blower and condenser units by applying soap water and tightening the flare nuts, putting end caps (if not available), checking the suction and discharge pressures and proper working of room temperature sensors / thermostats and remote handsets of the SAC/WAC units etc. complete as required (without cost of materials). Service reports as per Format - I duly signed by the Exchange/BTS/Bldg. in charge are to be submitted. (This item shall not be paid where item no. 4 is paid) |
| 4 | Water Servicing of SAC / WAC units by cleaning the evaporator and condenser cooling fins with soft brushes, washing and cleaning both the indoor and our units with cleaning agent and clean water, straightening the evaporator and condenser cooling fins by using suitable wire brushes, visual checking of any leakage in the evaporator and condenser coils, checking the pressure of refrigerant gas, checking the electrical connections and power outlet boxes, tightening etc. complete as required. (For WAC units performing complete removal from its position and refixing after water servicing). This activity shall normally be carried out once in a year. However, the frequency may be increased in case of dusty areas. (Not more than two times during a year). (This item shall not be paid where item no. 3 is paid) |
| 5 | Charging of Refrigerant gas R-22/R -407 / R -410 up to specified pressure for 1.5 TR WAC/ Split AC units after leak testing, leak rectification i/c testing for proper cooling of the AC units etc. as reqd. |
