Kangra (HP) (SH:- Dismentling and relaying of GI pipe line of 80mm dia in distribution system of various RDs and Laying and Jointing GI pipe 100mm (M) & 80mm (L) dia in various RDs due to C/O road work of PWD in village Dhan & Sanehar and Providing electric welding of various sites & various dia of GI Pipe to avoid the leakage of drinking water under section Jawali)

Excavation in foundation and trenches etc. (in pipes and pits) in all kinds of soils such as pick work, jumper work, blasting in soft/hard rock, chiselling/wedging out of rock/where blasting prohibited) saturated soil stacking the excavated soil as directed by the Engineer-in-charge clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers when required into plinth sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed by the Engineer -in-charge in all leads and lifts. (Pick Work)

Dismentaling of GI pipe of various dia in trenches complete in all respect (earth work to be measured and paid for separately) including cutting of pipe complete in all leads and lifts as per the direction & satisfaction of E-in-charge.

Re-Laying, jointing and testing of old dismentaled pipe in trenches GI pipe of various dia confirming to ISI specification i/c commission complete in all respect (earth work in trenches shall be measured and paid for separately) within leads and lifts as per the direction & satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Laying, jointing & testing in trenches to be levelled to grades, BIS marked GI pipes conforming to BIS:1239 ( latest with up to date amendments ) of 150 mm dia (Medium class PE) duly flanged after every 5th pipe with intermediate butt welded joints including the cost of flanges, bends of required degree, tee/ short pieces made from parent tubes of different degrees cutting , welding & jointing with flanges conforming to table as specified below of BIS:6392 ( latest with up date ammendments ) three layers (two layer out sides and one layer inner side) welded as per BIS:816 ( latest with up date ammendments ) with electrodes conforming to BIS 814 (latest with up date ammendments ) & provided with nuts & bolts BIS 1369 (latest with up date ammendments) of required sizes, 4 mm thick ( Champion make ) compressed asbestos fiber gasket or synthetic rubber gaskets conforming to BIS 2712 (latest with up date ammendments ) & approved specification as per site conditions including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete to respect with in all leads and lifts as per the direction and satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. (The earth work will be measured & paid separately)
