| 1 | Plant Production-9*6 PB raising in Bani Nursery. The rate of work for raising saplings in Polybags in Nurseries includes:1. Preparation of the nursery beds by removing all weeds, deep‑rooted seedlings, grasses and other undesirable material, followed by ploughing, scarifying, raising bunds, maintaining existing inspection paths, leveling the earth and laying a 500‑800‑gauge black polythene sheet on the plots before the filled polybags are placed. 2. Supply of good earth and well‑rotten farmyard manure, sieving the good earth to eliminate pebbles and debris, and preparation of potting mixture in the ratio of good earth (03 Parts) and Farmyard manure (FYM) (02 Parts); the mixture shall then be filled into the polybags and placement of such filled bags in suitable beds of nursery for raising of nursery stock.3. Sowing of quality seeds of deodar species (3-4 No. in each bag) as decided by the Forest Department in each bag. The resowing of seeds shall be sown by contactor, in case of failure during the liability period. 4. Maintenance of plants for current year upto ending march (all operations). |
| 2 | Maintenance of plants-9x6 PB (Ist year maintenance FY 2026-27) at Bani Nursery.The work includes Weeding & hoeing, Removing of grass from nursery berms, paths and spacings between nursery beds,Clearance of water channels, Collection and disposal of weeded out material outside the Nursery at suitable place by manual means.Watering of plants on daily basis throughout the year except rainy months, Shifting & grading, Re-sowing of the seeds/singling/collection and planting of wilding/pricking in the polybags where germination failed along with cost of seeds. Site of collection of wildings shall be identified by the officer in charge of the work. The Seeds to be provided by the Department at the cost borne by the contractor. Overall cleaning i.e. lopping of large trees along the periphery of nursery. Regular weeding in poly bags including disposal of weeds. Cleaning of bunds and interspaces of plots and beds and all nursery area on daily basis including disposal of weeds in a way to keep them always free from any weeds/grasses for hygiene purposes. Irrigation of plants as per requirement from available irrigation facility including that by water tankers to be procured from market in case of fault in motor pumps (whose maintenance and running and POL expenses shall be liable on contractor within the maintenance cost). Cost of seed/cuttings/transplants required for sowing/re-sowing/ transplant. Shifting and grading of poly bags as per requirement as directed by supervisory staff. Dressing of bunds/boundaries of plots/paths including general nursery maintenance and use of chemical / physical/ biological methods to keep the plants and nursery free from any sort of disease and insect and animal/bird attack. |
