SCULPTURE: Design, supply, fabrication, installation, assembly, transport, mechanical lifting equipment/model, temporary scaffolding for all elevations, erection and fixing of Sculpture in position fabricated out of Stainless steel 316 L, bronze and copper sheets. It shall include the guarantee of the entire material of Sculpture for minimum 25 years. The overall size of the sculpture shall be minimum 12 feet (length) x 8 feet (breadth) x 10 feet (height of sculpture).The Sculptor / designer has to submit the 3-D model of smaller size of the approved design to corporation to obtain the approval for the same from NPCIL before fabrication & erection. The entire sculpture shall have its own support system in form of a stainless steel chasis which shall be 2 feet in height and shall be fixed upon the pedestal of 4 feet in height and the pedestal shall be covered with soil. the pedestal shall be 12 feet diameter and 4 feet tall , it shall be clad in flame granite. The centre portion shall be covered with soil and grass. Payment shall be done on lumpsum basis of the Sculpture.a) Understanding brief/input provided by NPCIL, conceptualizing and designing multiple alternative sculpture designs based on the theme provided by NPCIL. b) Making model of sculpture (raw materials used - wood, thermocol and metal rods) to scale at sculptor studio. c) Making stainless steel components of the sculpture.d) Making the clay models of elements in the sculpture which have to be casted in bronze.e) Making positive fibre cast of clay components.f) Creating negative molds from fireproof materials to prepare for bronze casting including transport to and fro from studio to Rajasthan (where superior quality of the bronze casting is being done) and back.g) Finished casting of bronze components.h) Stainless steel polishing and buffing of all components.i) Finishing of bronze components with grinders, buffing and required patina wherever necessary.j) Designing, fabricating and installing stainless steel chasis to support the sculpture.k) Assembling all the components of the sculpture to each other at the studio to check/verify final appearance, fixity, stability and finish.l) This job shall include packaging of all the components of sculpture in safe and secure packing (Profill, thermocol, cling film in wooden crate) and tranportation of sculpture to NPCIL site. m) Positioning/installation of sculpture on pedestal at site by use of crane.n) Final cleaning/finishing & polishing of sculpture at site.Arrangement of lifting equipment/Sculpture including supply of all hard ware are covered in scope of this item.

CIVIL WORKS: Breaking/dismantling the existing concrete/soil/granite cladded pedestal of approximate dia. 12 feet and ht. 2 feet on site and removing all debris from the site as per the direction of NPCIL. Providing foundation & excavation (in all types of soil / rock) as per the approved design of pedestal. Constructing 12 feet diameter x 4 feet height (above Ground level) pedestal in concrete/masonry with necessary footings/foundation as per the requirement and approvals from NPCIL. Providing and cladding of pedestal with black flamed 20 mm thk. granite. Finishing and polishing of black flamed granite with full round moulding wherever required. Providing heavy duty HDPE drainage pipes for easy maintenance of the lawn within the pedestal. Providing and positioning the approved light fixtures required to illuminate the sculpture. All materials including soil filling used above are to be of superior quality and the approval from NPCIL has to be obtained for the design and drawing of the entire civil work as mentioned above. The Sculptor to submit the necessary detailed design & drawings, design calculations of the stainless steel chasis with all connections, supporting pedestal and its foundation considering all types of soil strata / rocks (soft or hard rock) with or without anchoring as per the design requirement as per latest BIS codes/relevant design standards, and obtain the review and approval for the same from NPCIL before execution, fabrication & erection. This item shall include providing the complete comprehensive design and detailed architectural and structural drawings, fabrication drawings (if any) of the total structure with all necessary fixing arrangements as per BIS Standards and good engineering practices.
