| 1 | Dewatering, Sludge Removal and Cleaning Works at FACT UDL WaterTreatment Plant 2026-27 |
| 2 | Cleaning of the Clariflocculator Tank in the Water Treatment Plant of FACT-UC.The scope of work includes cleaning of the Clariflocculator tank after emptying the water with required number of adequate capacity pumps. Tank cleaning means cleaning of the tank side walls, tank bottom, inner well, mechanical structures of the flocculator inside the tank and its traction system. All debris,vegetation,sludge,mud,rust any undesired material etc. from the side walls, bottom floor, innerwell and surface of the structural are to be removed with sufficient means and washed with fresh water for final finish.The contractor is responsible for providing all workers and equipment needed for the job, such as sludge pumps (minimum 2 pumps not less than 7.5 hp), pressure washers (not less than 200 bar pressure), hoses of required length, junction boxes with adequate length of cables for power supply, ladders, cleaning tools, etc. |
| 3 | Dewatering of the Clariflocculator Tank at the FACT-UC Water Treatment Plant. The scope of work includes complete dewatering of the clariflocculator tank using adequate capacity waterand sludge pumps. The scope also includes pumping out of entire water, any sludge or mud that may present under the bottom of the tank and its inner well. All materials required for thework, such as sludge pumps (pumps not less than 5 hp), hoses of required length, junction boxes with adequate length of cables for power supply, ladders, etc., and operator required for the successful operation of the pumps, are to be arranged by the contractor.[Note : The cleaning of the tank using manual labours is not envisaged for this work.] |
| 4 | Dewatering of the Sump Tank at the FACT-UC Water Treatment Plant.The scope of work involves the complete drainage of the Sump tank, along with the extraction of sludge and mud from its inner water channels using specialized sludge pumps.(minimum 3nos pump not less than 10 hp), Petrol driven water/sludge pumps of capacity 5 hp. All materials required for the work, such as sludge pumps, hoses of required length, junction boxes with adequate length of cables for power supply, ladders, etc., and operator required for the successful operation of the pumps, are to be arranged by the contractor. Petrol for the pump will be suppiled by FACT. |
| 5 | Hiring of petrol driven water/sludge pumps of capacity of 3 hp on daily basis from outside for supporting/handling any urgent works in filter bed/township like leaks in water headers, general cleaning, breakdown maintenance works etc. The to and fro transportation of the pump, supply of required quantity of petrol and operator required for the successful operation of the pump are to be arranged by the contractor. This is an optional item and shall be provided as and when required. petrol for the pump will be suppiled by FACT. |
| 6 | Hiring of electrical driven sludge pumps of capacity of 3 hp on dailybasis from outside for supporting / handling any urgent works in filter bed / township like leaks in water headers, general cleaning, breakdown maintenance works. The to and fro transportation of the pump and operator required for the successful operation of the pump are to be arranged by the contractor. This is an optional item and shall be provided as and when required. |
| 7 | Hiring of electrical driven water pumps of capacity of 0.5 hp on daily basis from outside for supporting / handling any urgent works in filter bed/township like leaks in water headers, general cleaning, breakdown maintenance works. The to and fro transportation of the pump to be arranged by the contractor. This is an optional item and shall be provided as and when required. |
| 8 | Hiring of portable pressure washer (not less than 200 bar pressure) on daily basis from outside for supporting/handling any urgent works in filter bed/township like leaks in water headers, general cleaning, breakdown maintenance works. The to and fro transportation of the pressure washer and operator required for the successful operation of the pressure washer will be under the scope of the contractor. This is an optional item and shall be provided as and when required. |
| 9 | Hiring of portable single phase generator set of capacity of 7.5 kVA on daily basis from outside for supporting/handling any urgent works in filter bed/township like leaks in water headers, general cleaning, breakdown maintenance works. The to and fro transportation of the generator set and operator required for the successful operation of the generator will be under the scope of the contractor. Required quantity of the fuel will be supplied by FACT. This is an optional item and shall be provided as and when required. |
| 10 | Hiring of crane / JCB from outside for supporting/handling any urgent works in filter bed / township like leaks in water headers, general cleaning, breakdown maintenance works on 8 hour basis. This is an optional item and can be used only when crane facility cannot be provided by company due to any emergency work. Also sanction from Engineer in charge shall be obtained before hiring crane from outside. |
| 11 | Supply of unskilled labourers for special works such as cleaning, sludge removal and related miscellaneous works of Clarifloculator, sump tank, intake well and aerator located within WTP premises on an eight-hour shift basis. |
