Providing and fixing machine moulded aluminium covering of approved pattern & design, made out of machine cut aluminium sheet and machine holed for receiving dash fastener, over expansion joints on vertical surfaces/ceiling floors, the fixing on plate in one row on one side of joint only shall be done with stainless steel dash fasteners of 8 mm dia and 75 mm long bolt including providing aluminium washers 2 mm thick & 15 mm dia , at a staggered pitch of 200 mm centre to centre including drillingholes in the receiving surface and providing expandable plastic sleeves in holes etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.(a) Anodised aluminium sheet 2.5 mm thick (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS:1868, Minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) kg 680.55

Dismantling stone slab flooring laid in cement mortar including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Providing and fixing pre-moulded joint filler in expansion joints of basement roof/ground slab after making the joints dust free with high pressure air jet cleaners and joints completely dried , all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Pre-moulded joint fillers shall be made of bitumen hot sealing compound impregnated fibre board having impregnation more than 35%, conforming to IS:1838 for fibre board and IS: 1834 for hot sealing bitumen compound grade A.)

Treatment of expansion joint after chipping and removal of the loosely bonded concrete including preparation of edges, adhesive application and applying TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomeric Tape) of width 200 mm, 1mm thick membrane incorporating a central release tape all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Apply GST Correction factor @ 0.973, except on item no. 5Conditions:The agency shall submit a Guarantee Bond of 5 years for the waterproofing work executed over the expansion joints. In addition, 15% of the value of the total work done shall be retained, and the same shall be deducted proportionately from each stage-wise payment made to the agency. This retained amount shall remain withheld for a period of five (5) years as security against any leakage or defect arising through the treated expansion joints.The withheld amount shall be released in a phased manner as under:(a)5% of the total retained amount shall be released after completion of the first monsoon period following the date of completion of the work, subject to satisfactory performance and no leakage being observed in work done. (b)The balance 10% shall be released after completion of five (5) years from the date of completion of the work, provided that the waterproofing system remains effective and free from any defects or seepage.
