| 2 | Providing and laying backer rod of size 25 mm dia in the joints of 20-22 mm width all complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-charge. Type of material shall be Expanded closed cell Polyethylene foam and shall conform to ASTMC-5249-95 or ASTMD 3575. |

| 4 | Providing and fixing pre-moulded joint filler in expansion joints of RCC roads/ CC pavements after making the joints dust free with high pressure air jet cleaners, all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Pre-moulded joint fillers shall be made of bitumen hot sealing compound impregnated fibre board having impregnation more than 35%, conforming to IS:1838 with a compressibility more than 25% for fibre board and IS: 1834 for hot sealing bitumen compound grade A) |
| 5 | Providing and laying in position polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS 11433-1995,in expansion / Construction / dummy joints including rounding off edges, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant and disposal of debris up to Airport premises etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer in-charge & particular specifications. [Note : For purpose of payment, quantity (Length X Width X Depth) of sealant in cucm only will be measured & work shall be executed by authorized applicator, Concrete pavement should be clean and dust free for Aircraft movement, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning.] |
| 6 | Preparing the damaged edges of expansion, construction and dummy joints all along the concrete panels :A.Proper making of edges by cutting, chipping, removing and cleaning all unsound/weak concrete material either at one side or both side of joints of pavement up to required width and depth as per specification/I.S. code or direction of Engineer-in-charge.B. Making edges of joint either at one side or both side with high strength quick setting epoxy mortar (40 MPa in 24 hours and 70 MPa in 28 day) after application of primer of brands Sika, STP, BASF, Pidilite, STP or as per approved make, accept traffic after 4 hours after pouring. Primming by Nylon stiffen brush, use glass panes shuttering board in-to joints for finishing as per the size suiting different sizes and finishing/texturing top surface as per specification and disposal of debris up to Airport premises etc. all complete with materials and machineries as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.(Note: Work shall be executed by authorized applicator, Concrete pavement should be clean and dust free for Aircraft movement, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning.) |
| 7 | Re-surfacing of rough concrete surface panel by applying fast setting high strength cemenetitious roadway patching compount Shalifix SC M of make STP, Choksey, Sika, Pidilite or as per approve make (High strength, 20 MPa in 24 hours and 55 MPa in 28 days).A. Surface preparation : Surface must be clean & free from dust, oils, grease curing compounds etc. that could impair adhesion. Excess laitance should be removed by light scrabbling, blasting or grinding and vacuuming to remove dust debris. Light oil and grease staining can be removed with proprietary chemical degreaser, followed by washing with clean water.B. Resurfacing of the damaged top surface by procurement and application of the appropriate construction chemicals mixed in mortar mixing machine for making homogeneous mixture in required ratio to the existing composite pavements, without violation of the NOTAM Rules and disposal of debris up to Airport premises etc. all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.(Note:Work shall be executed by authorized applicator, Concrete pavement should be clean and dust free for Aircraft movement, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning.) |
| 8 | Supplying of sealed packed Polymerised Elastomeric concrete compound (Shalipatch EC 10 of brand STP/Flex-O-Patch of Choksey chemicals/Delpatch of D.S Brown/ Pidilite/ Sika or equivalent approved make) of required shade, self leveling, three components developed in use with specially blend aggregates at site. The material supplied will not be more than two months of the manufacture date. |
| 9 | Supplying of primer of Shaliprime PUM of brand STP/Choksey/D.S Brown/Pidilite/Sika or equivalent of approved make for Elastomeric concrete compund at site. The material supplied will not be more than two months of the manufacture date. |
| 10 | Repairing of damaged portion of rigid pavement with Elastomeric concrete compound (Flex-O-Patch of Choksey chemicals/ Delpatch of D.S Brown/Pidilite/Sika/STP or equivalent) after marking, cutting, chipping the pavement up to required size and depth by using mechanical chippers/cutters, side locking on the vertical face, cleaning the prepared area by sand blasting with medium grit sand, including disposal of dismantled material with all lead and lift insideAAI, premises and masking both side & pouring the compound, finishing & texturing and disposal of debris up to Airport premises etc. all complete as per manufacturer specifications and the direction of Engineer-in-Charge with required machines & tools.(Note:Work shall be executed by authorized applicator, Concrete pavement should be clean and dust free for Aircraft movement, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning.) |
| 11 | Providing and injecting approved grout in proportion recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-combarea of concrete/masonry by suitable gun/pump at required pressure including cutting of nipples after curing and disposal of debris up to Airport premises etc. allcomplete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. | 12 | Providing and laying in position Epoxy mortar of STP, Sika, Fosroc, BASF, Pidilite or as per approved make, in pot holes including cleaning of pots holes with high pressure air blower, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of Epoxy mortar and applying two coat of Epoxy at top after setting of epoxy mortar for finishing and better bonding including all tools and machineries etc. all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.(Note:Work shall be executed by authorized applicator, Concrete pavement should be clean and dust free for Aircraft movement after work, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning) |
