Note : (1)Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Degree holder in Civil Engineering from University / Autonomous Govt. with 2 (Two) years relevant experience in testing (civil construction material) laboratory or Diploma holder in Civil Engineering from Board of Technical Educations / Govt. recognized Polytechnic with 5 (five) years relevant experience in testing (civil construction material) laboratory .(2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one person for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintenance work, where samples need to drawn, the person will have to stay longer time occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account. (3) Period of work : The contractor shall carry out number of one(1) / two(2) jobs per monthas per requirement atQA Laboratoryand as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one person exclusively for the particular job.(5) Person should be engaged after scrutiny of Engineer -in-charge of BARC(V) and approved by Competent authority.The deployed person will report to Engineer -in-charge of BARC(V). (6) The minimum notice period before change of Person is 30 days, failing which a compensation of Rs.3,000/- per day of shortfall in serving the notice period will be levied on the contractor. |

In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintenance work, the person will have to stay longer time occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge.
