| 36 | Material and labour for repairing of corroded RCC with arresting further oxidation of embedded reinforcement and integral silicone enriched water proofing mortar by following sequence of method :-(a) Cleaning and removing all the loose particles with mild mechanical impact, to open the corroded reinforcement as much as possible.(b)Cleaning with air blower to make the corroded reinforcement dust free.(c) Applying, spraying low vapor pressure hydorcarbon with paraffin and aliphatic hydorcarbon WD40 to clean throughout the rust of the corroded reinforcement through its impregnating behavior.(d) Allowing 24 hours time to complete the action of WD40.(e) Preparing the anticorrosive coating by mixing with 65% of Glycidoxy Functional Silicone resin Waker EPH03 and 35% Liquid Aminofunctional Silicone resin Waker HP 2020 (weight/weight) with required quantity of Xylene to make easily miscible.(f) Providing and applying the above prepared anticorrosicve coating by brusing or spraying, uniformly on the cleaned and rust free reinforcement bars.(g) One hour is the tack free time and 24 hours is he curing time should be allowed.(h) Providing and applying a bonding agent to adhere the old construction and new one.(j) Providing and applying 1% Wacker BS 16 enriched cement mortar with required aggregates to cover up or touchup the open coated reincorcement steels.(k) Providing 15 days time to cure the newly coated layer on the treated RCC.Note:- (i) The above work shall be done by the authoriesd applicator as approved by GE.(ii) All necessary required scaffolding shall be included in the quoted rates.Make: - Savison Technologies,M/s FOSROC Chemicals , M/s Asian Paints Ltd, M/s STP Ltd,I-CanNano. |
