Removal of Pipelines, Ducts and Structurals in NP,Offsite & Phase I AreaWork involves: Damaged or unwanted pipelines (ranging from 15 NB to 1200 NB), ducts and structural items regardless of size, shall be cut and removed from all levels and areas of the NP,Offsite & Phase I.The contractor shall remove all unstable structures of equipment as directed by the Technician/Officer-in‑Charge.All removed pipes, pipe fittings, components, and scrap materials shall be segregated based on usability and material condition.Unusable materials shall be sorted into separate lots (e.g., SS, CS, CI, MS, GI) according to type, and each lot shall be transported individually to the weighbridge for weighing.After weighing, the materials shall be moved to the designated areas in the scrap yard earmarked for each category. The weight slip for unusable material, along with the scrap disposal form, shall be submitted to the officer in charge of the scrap yard, with one copy provided to the user department. Usable materials shall be loaded, transported, and weighed before being stacked at specified locations, as instructed by the Technician/Officer-in‑Charge. The weight slip for usable material shall be submitted to the user department.

Collection of Scrap material from NP,Offsite & Phase I AreaWork involves: Unwanted scrap materials, including damaged bearings, valves, equipment or components, neoprene sheets, and damaged bolts and nuts, shall be collected from all levels and areas of the NP,Offsite & Phase I. Damaged bearings shall be cut into pieces prior to loading, as instructed by the Engineer/In‑Charge Officer. Before commencing work, the contractor shall obtain scrap removal clearance from the Shift Engineer/In‑Charge Officer. Loading of unwanted scrap materials shall be carried out in the presence of the Shift Engineer/In‑Charge Officer.Collected scrap materials shall be segregated based on usability and material condition.
