| 5 | M&L Preparing existing black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc.sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air blower to remove all loose dirt / foreign materials and applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer ( Paving bitumen of Viscosity Grade VG-10) at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of surface laying bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness ( Paving bitumen of Viscosity Grade VG-30) with 5.5%binder content by weight of total mix and 4% stone dust conforming to specification for filler as per IRC-95, 1987 (Fliller) prepared in hot mix plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surfaces by mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The minimum consolidated thickness will be 30 mm. However it may be increased at places to maintain the camber as per the site requirement and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. He contractor must visit the site before quoting their rates. |
