| 24 | Buyback of existing 3.5 x 35 Sqmm / 3.5 x 25 Sqmm aluminum armored old underground (UG) cables from the excavated trench. The reopening of the trench for laying new 3.5 x 25 Sqmm aluminum cable to establish pole-to-pole connections, in accordance with Item No. 3 of the Estimate.Process Details:i) The old cable will first be disconnected from the existing poles.ii)The disconnected cable will then be retrieved from the excavated trench.iii)Lay the new 3.5 x 25 Sqmm aluminum cable in the trench, as specified under Item No. 3 of the Estimate.Special Conditions:i) Only cables of size 3.5 x 25 Sqmm and 3.5 x 35 Sqmm retrieved from the trench will be considered for buyback by the contractor.ii) Any cables of other sizes retrieved during excavation will be handed over to the department and will not be taken by the contractor. |
