| 3 | M&L for preparing unsurfaced WMM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | M&L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10)atthe rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of surface by a self propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer equipped for spraying the primer uniformly. |
| 5 | M&L for premix bituminous macadam , laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 50 mm or less) with 4% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of Grade VG 30 complete all as specified and directed.(Note :-No extra payment shall be made to the contractor for using more quantity of bitumen than the quantity mentioned in BoQ.) |
| 6 | Repairs to potholes not exceeding 1 Sqm each, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 Kg per 10 sqm, bound with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed. |

| 9 | M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete(SDAC), 40 mm consolidated thickness with5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of Grade VG 30, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and directed.(Note :-No extra payment shall be paid tothe contractor for using more quantity of bitumen than the quantity mentioned in BoQ.) |
