| 1 | Supply, installation, commissioning & testing silent type Diesel Engine driven Generator set conforming CPCB IV+ Normsof capacity 25 kVA at 0.8 PF, 3 phase 4 wire 50 HZ, 415 Volt, AC water cooled mounted on common base frame complete with anti vibrating pad including foundation, fuel tank and other accessories including Automatic mains failure (AMF) control panel, complete all as specified and directed as per the following parameters: - |
| 2 | (A) DIESEL DRIVEN ENGINE: - Engine developing required BHPat1500 RPM, including connecting, testing as per BIS-649 under NTP conditions with the following accessories. |
| 3 | (a) ALTERNATOR:-Alternator shall be of capacity 25 KVA net output at work site after commissioning, de-rating factor as per MSL, high and temperature condition as applicable at power factor 0.80, AC, 3 phase, 4 wire AVR System screen protection, ball/roller bearing with damp proof winding on each pole, factor as per IS-1722, complete all as specified and directed. Alternator should be brushless type, suitable for 50 Hz, revolving field, self excited (confirming to BS 5000/IS 4722 or latest amendment). |
| 4 | (b) DIESEL ENGINE:- Diesel Engine shall be vertical type of adequate capacity suitable for above alternator after considering all applicable de-rating factors for site condition as brought out in (a) as per relevant IS code having provision of coupling shaft to drive the above alternator independently after considering power losses in all the accessories forming part of the set i.e. Coupling any type, FIP, water cooled directed injection, cold starting RPM 1500, industrial type with standard accessories, complete in all respect with following provisions:- |
| 5 | (i) Fly wheel with housing with suitable flexible coupling. |
| 6 | (ii) Radiator assembly complete with fan, water pump and thermostat. |
| 7 | (iii) Dry type Air Cleaner as per latest CPCB norms. |
| 8 | (iv) Fuel Injection pump |
| 9 | (v) Governor Mechanical/Hydraulic variable speed as per manufacturer\"s design. |
| 10 | (vi) Flexible coupling with guard, nuts and bolts. |
| 11 | (vii) Fuel Filter and Oil Filter with mounting. |
| 12 | (viii) Lubrication Oil Pump. |
| 13 | (ix) Self Starter. |
| 14 | (x) Exhaust silencer residential type with wool/hexagonal wire netting and aluminium sheet as per latest CPCB norms. |
| 15 | (xi) Drip Dry. |
| 16 | (xii) Instrument panel complete with starting switch and key lubricating oil pressure gauge, water temperature gauge and push button, tachometer and hour meter. |
| 17 | (xiii) Engine protection unit for low lubrication oil pressure and high coolant temperature. |
| 18 | (xiv) Dynamo/Alternator. |
| 19 | (B) ALTERNATOR:- The above engine should be coupled through flexible coupling to an indigenous alternator, mounted on strong steel fabricated common base frame suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation. The Alternator will be 3 phase 50 HZ 1500 RPM self regulating, self exciting type and will generate 25 KVA at 0.80 PF (lag), 415 volts, 4 wire AC supply under NTP conditions when running at 1500 RPM. The Alternator would be screen protected and fitted with end shields ball/roller bearing and generally confirm to BS 2613/IS 4772 or latest if any revision is made. |
| 20 | (C) CONTROL PANEL:- Cubical type control panel sheet thickness not less than 1.6 mm which is powder coatedand mounted inside the canopy with hinged type door consisting of3-pole MCN, MCCB switchgear of suitable size. The control panel incorporated analogous gauge of water temp, Lubrication oil pressure, engine RPM, Battery Charging Ammeter and hour meter, it also include the standard DG on load and on load on DG indicator with key start and stop . The control panel comes with fault indicators (LED type on ESU) for:- Low lubrication oil pressure, Battery Charging failure, High Engine temprature, Low Fuel Level. |
| 21 | (D) FUEL TANK:- One No of Sheet metal steel tank of suitable capacity to hold diesel sufficient for 12 hours running at full load of suitable capacity, mounted on angle iron frame including the following:- |
| 22 | (i) Fuel level indicator to indicate level of diesel in the tank. |
| 23 | (ii) Drain plug with 2 meter pipe of drain oil. |
| 24 | (iii) Fuel strainer. |
| 25 | (iv) Hose pipe for Fuel. |
| 26 | (v) Air vent |
| 27 | (vi) Manually Operated one No. fuel pump (For filling diesel in fuel tank). |
| 28 | (vii) Battery 12 Volts - 01 No. of suitable capacity as per manufactures recommendation with copper lead, terminals, fixed on wooden platform/base. |
| 29 | (E) One No. Base plate shall be MS fabricated and of rigidly welded constructions duly ribbed suitable for receiving engine, alternator, along with flexible coupling. It shall include set of bolts, washers, rubber coupling drip tray and protective screen around coupling. |
| 30 | (F) ACCOUSTIC ENCLOSURE FOR GEN SET:- OEM supplied accoustic enclosures suitable for 25 KVA capacity diesel Generator sets duly fabricated of channel and CRCA sheet 1.60 mm thick of required size having doors, sides and top insulation by mineral rock wool confirming to IS-8183 of adequate thickness, acoustic louvers/outlet, ventilation system etc complete as per latest CPCB norms with wiring and lighting arrangements, UV resistant powder coating, applied all over the body, complete all as required at site and comprising of the following: - |
| 31 | (i) BASE: - suitable size as provided by the manufacturer /CPCB norms. |
| 32 | (ii) STRUCTURE:- suitable structure as provided by the OEM. |
| 33 | (iii) DOORS:- suitable doors as provided by the OEM. |
| 34 | (iv) OUTSIDE COVER:-suitable outside cover as provided by the OEM. |
| 35 | (v) ACCOUSTIC INSULATION:- As per latest CPCB norms. |
| 36 | (vi) INSIDE COVER: - suitable inside cover as provided by the OEM. |
| 37 | (vii) INSPECTION PORT:- Acrylic sheet of suitable thickness with rubber gasket. |
| 38 | (viii) ACCOUSTIC LOUVERS/ATTENUATORS AT AIR INLET/OUTLET: - This should provide excellent sound attenuation and good weather protection. Single blade and chevron blade louvers manufactured from 16 SWG CRCA sheet top section with and including fire proof accoustic infill as per latest CPCB norms. The under section is formed from 18 SWG CRCA performed sheet after covering with fire resistant tissues to prevent fire migration or by means of accoustic lines ducts. |

| 52 | Notes: -(a) The complete generator set including engine/alternator shall be factory assembled by manufacturer or other authorized dealer as approved for assembling the DG Set.(b) PCC foundation of DG Set shall be constructed as per manufacturer instruction and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.(c) Complete DG sets shall be tested in the following manner after completion of work as detailed in Sch \"A\".(i) No load test - 30 Minutes(ii) Test on 25 % load- 01 Hrs(iii) Test on 50 % load- 01 Hrs(iv) Test on 75 % load- 01 Hrs(v) Test on 100 % load- 08 Hrs(vi) Test on 10 % overload- 30 Minutes(Total 12 Hrs)(d) Fuel and T&P for testing of DG sets will be arranged by the contractor.(e) The Factory inspection of DG SET shall be carried out by Rep of Accepting Officer. |
| 53 | Supply & laying XLPE insulated armoured screened PVC sheathed LT (1100 Volts grade) cable aluminium conductor of size 25 Sqmm 4 core on wall/roof or passing through GI pipes including all fixing arrangements complete all as specified and directed. |
