| 7 | Repair of cracks in RCC members by epoxy injection grouting: Providing and carrying out crack repair in RCC beams/slabs/columns by pressure injection of low-viscosity epoxy resin suitable for structural crack sealing/bonding. Work shall include: identification & marking of cracks; cleaning of crack line; sealing of surface cracks with epoxy paste/putty; drilling of holes along crack line and fixing injection packers/nipples; injection of approved low-viscosity epoxy resin using pump (inject till refusal/steady pressure) to ensure full-depth penetration; removal of nipples/packers after curing; grinding/finishing the surface; making good with polymer modified mortar where required; all tools, consumables, surface preparation, and disposal of waste complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 8 | Micro-concrete jacketing to cracked staircase columns (structural strengthening): Providing and executing jacketing to existing cracked staircase columns/pier-columns with non-shrink, flowable micro-concrete (pre-packed or site-designed as approved) of minimum M50 equivalent strength, including: removal of loose plaster/unsound material and surface preparation; chipping/roughening to sound substrate; cleaning and rust removal of exposed reinforcement (if any); drilling and fixing of shear connectors/dowels/anchors as required; fixing additional reinforcement cage and/or welded wire mesh as per Engineer-in-Charge; applying epoxy bonding coat/slurry on prepared substrate; providing and fixing centering/shuttering/formwork with proper sealing; placing/pumping micro-concrete to required thickness, ensuring proper compaction/flow and cover; curing, dismantling formwork, finishing and making good complete, all as per manufacturer’s specifications and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
