To perform under term contract such services and execute such works on the terms and conditions contained or referred in the MES Standard Schedule of rates 2009 (Part-I) ‘Specifications’ and Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 (Part-II) ‘Rates’ with and including errata and amendments No 1 to 3 for Part-I and 1 to 122 for Part-II herein after referred as the MES Schedule together with errata/amendments as applicable,General Conditions of Contracts IAFW-2249, 1989 (Print) with errata/amendments as applicable and upon the conditions contained in the tender documents as may be demanded and as are enumerated in the aforesaid standard schedule of rates during the period of one year from the date of acceptance at the rates contained in the aforesaid MES standard schedule of rates.OR At such other rates as may be fixed under the provision of condition 62 of “General Conditions of Contracts (IAFW-2249)” 1989 (Print) with errata/amendments as applicable.Notes :-(a) Tenderer shall insert percentage rate at Column 5 of this BOQ. (b) Tenderer shall refer and select the option excess (+) or less (-) or at par available at Column 4 of this BOQ to quote the percentage above / below / at par MES Standard Schedule of Rates. The percentage quoted by tenderer shall be made applicable for acceptance while publishing the acceptance letter.(c) Amount inserted by the MES under rate Column and the total amount reflected in the page is a rough guidance and WO will be issued by the MES for up to the amount inserted by the MES in this BOQ, irrespective of amount arrived in this BOQ after quoting contractor\"spercentage. The work orders for various works / services shall be placed for amount worked out / priced on the rates contained in MES Standard Schedule of Rates Part-II duly adjusted by percentage rate quoted by the contractor.(d) Contractor special attention is invited to condition “4(A) Works to be carried out (Applicable only to term contracts) and condition “56 Termination of Contract (Applicable only to term contracts)” of “General Conditions of Contracts (IAFW-2249)”. The provision of these conditions of “General Conditions of Contracts (IAFW-2249)” are strict to be followed.(e) It is express condition of this contract that the amount of total works / services required to be done under this contract can vary to any extant irrespective of the amount works out / mentioned in this BOQ sheet and contractor shall be bound to execute such works / services at the rates contained in MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 Part-II duly adjusted by quoted percentage rate during contract period. No claim of the contractor shall be entertained due to increase or decrease in quantum of work required to be done / work done.
