Blood Collecting Bag (350 ml with ring) (Single) 1. Bag must be made up of DEHP (Di-2- ethylhexyl phthalate) plasticized PVC (polyvinylchloride), collapsible non-vented sterile containers complete withcollecting tube for completely closed system to avoid the chances of contamination. 2. Bag should be flexible, pre-sterilized, pyrogen free, non-toxic, non-haemolytic & should be made up of biocompatible material. 3. Bag should be free from any risk of contamination and air embolism (closed system) with all leak proof seals (Disposable Bags). 4. Bag should have Slits on the both sides to accommodate 5 - 10 ml volume test tubes. 5. The capacity of the bag should be enough to prevent any ballooning/rupture of the bag from the seam when it is filled up with the requisite volume of blood. 6. Tubing of the bag should be flexible, non-kinking, non-sticking, transparent & leak-proof. 7. All the tubings should have same ID/Segment number as that onthe bag. 8. The tube should have multiple printed ID/Segment numbers 9. Needle should be of 16 gauge, ultra thin walled and straight with sharp regular margins and bevelled tip to ensure ultimate donor comfort. 10. Needle should be rust proof, hermetically sealed and tightly fixed with hub covered with sterile guard. 11. External port should be tamper proof and should not be re-capped. 12. CPDA/CPDA-1 (49 ml i.e. 14 ml/100ml of blood) should be used as anticoagulant and preservative solution. 13. Anticoagulant solution should be clear & colourless and manufacturer has to supply anticoagulant quality check certificate. 14. The expiry date should be at least 2 years from the date of supply of blood bags to the consignee. 15.
