(ii) Earth plate surrounded by and packed with char-coal and common salt in alternative layers (n.exc 15cms each layer). (iii) 4 mm dia (8 SWG) G.I earth wire from earth plate to main switch board including necessary GI bolts, nuts check nuts, washers, thimbles etc. (iv) 15 mm bore light grade, GI pipe forprotection to earth-wire. (v)20mm bore, medium grade, GI pipe for watering including GI funnel and wire mesh. Pipe shall be provided vertically upto top level of earth pit and then taken horizontally to the earth pit. (vi) 50mm thick pre-cast cover of cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, Chamber in PCC(1:3:6), type-C2(to be constructed 1 m away from edge of earth pit)and MS angle iron 50x50x6mm frame including two coats of painting over a coat of red oxide to exposed steel surfaces. (vii) Excavation in soft/loose soil, returning filling & removal of surplus soil to a distance upto 50 metre as directed including testing etc all as specified. |

| 28 | Suppy, Installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising of 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid including connection with galvanised earth strip 32X6 mm and required Protective Pit cover of size 0.3mx0.3mx0.3m also as directed by Engr In Charge .The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation complete all as specified and directed. |
