| 2 | Material and Labour for Preparation of existing black topsurface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying premix bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @4% by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.Note: The specification of bituminous macadam shall be as per Para 20.B.3 of SSR Part-I. |

| 4 | Material and Labour for road marking paint in lines, arrow, dashes & letters exceeding100mm and upto 200mm width with white or golden or yellow in colour, thermostatic compound with reflectorised glass beads on road providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.0mm thick including reflectorised glass beads @ 250 to 300 gram/Sqm area to withstand vehicular traffic load, thickness of 2mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35 conforming to BS-3262,including cleaning of old road marking paint , the finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes, in addition where arrows of letters are to be provided thermostatics compound should be machine sprayed and the colour of compound all as per MORTH specification complete all as specified and directed. |
