| 2 | Material and Labour in replacment of Earthing complete with copper plate 60×60cm×3.15mm thick electrode buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5mbelow normal ground level, connected to copper earth strip 20x3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel as shown in electricalplate No 3 of SSR Part I, connected to earth test point, including testing and commissioning complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge.Note : (a) The unit rates quoted against this item shall be deemed to include the cost of excavation and earth work in any type of soil, filling of common salt & charcoal dust in alternate layers, PCC 1:3:6 as in pit, precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 with necessary reinforcement as in cover & frame for pit, funnel, watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe light grade, protection pipe 50/40 mm bore GI pipe medium grade etc.(b)The quoted rates shall also deemed to include earth strip and protection pipe upto 7.5 meter or upto test point complete. |

| 7 | Supply and fixing in repair/replacement of copper strip 20 x 3.15 mm with porcealian shaddles and fixing screws for earthing strip / conductors above groundand nuts/bolts of joints complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge. |
| 8 | Supply and Fixing in repair/replacement of GI tube light grade as in earthing strip protection including all fittingscomplete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge for the following sizes :- |

| 11 | Note : Contractor should procure and provide 50 % of the material as listed above within 15 days of the placing of work orderand shall be verified by the Engr-in-charge. |
