| 1 | Repairs to pot holes any depth n.exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting round edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by filling in screened and graded road metal watering and well ramming (incl supply of metal) and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm, and providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete (design mix) 30mm thick (cosolidated) thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix laid with mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gredient with 8 to 12 ton power roller complete all as specified and directed. |
| 2 | M&L for premix bituminous macadam (design mix) with 4% of binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 mixed in mechanical hot mixed plantand premixed material laid with mechanical paver finished including rolling to required camber and gradient (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction, completeall as specified and directed.Note: Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder content as 4% of the total mix by weight. However in case of any variation in the weight of binder as per actual mix design, the same shall be adjusted at supply only rate of bitumen all as per sample kept in GE office and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 3 | M&L for Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud vegitation grass etc, sweeping withbrooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 Kg / 10 Sqm and bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness using crushed graded stone aggregate mixed with binder content of paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5% binder contents by weightof total mix by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 Tonne capacity power roller including preparation of bitumen carpet in digital computarized weigh batch hot mix plant, complete all as specified. Note: The quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per Design mix approved by GE. (The cost of transportation of the material to the Govt approved lab and design mix charges shall be borne by the contractor). for the purpose of quoting, the contractor shall consider 5.5% binder by weight of total mix. However, the work shall be executed as per approved design and price adjustment shall be done only for variation (plus or minus) in quantity of binder priced at supply only rate of bitumen (as per purchase voucher of main producer). |
| 4 | S&F in repair factory made retro reflective road sign board comprising of 2 nos 2 mm thick aluminium sheet plates of size 1200 x 800 mm fixed back to back in 40 mm bore stainless steel pipe frame incl. legs with aluminium/ stainless steel rivets and flats of suitable size. Both the plates to be provided with computerised cut directional arrows, alphabets, lines and symbols etc with white colour reflective tape with font size and thickness as directed over Dennison HIP base green reflective background sheets. Top height of boards with legs from ground level minimum 2.5m including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 blocks of size 45x45x60 cm including excavation, taking out old boards (any type and size) all as per sample kept in GE office and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 5 | M&L of new/ old black top surface road surface and applying one coat of retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint 2 mm thick for longer durability with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160 degree celcius. Paint material shall be conforming to Ministry of surface transport (MOST)specification 803.4 Vol - I as laid down in specification of road / bridge work \"third revision\" after cleaning surfaces, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | S&F in repair Dual directional reflective cat eye of aluminium casted stud 100x100mm having micro cube corner spark glow reflector white/ red/ yellow on side provided with steel zinc plated nail of dia 12mm of length 120mm for fixing to road by hammering etc, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 7 | S&F in repair solar cat eye alunimum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to IS) of size 125mm x 125mm of high efficiency monocrystalline solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 MCD complete all as per manufactures instructions, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 8 | S&F in repair all directional retro-reflective ROUND delineator SHORT made out of 16 gauge MS pipe of outer dia 47 mm and of length 600mm. Delineator stove enamelled and baked to 120 degree celcius or powder coated. Delineator to have 200 mm wide reflective band of colour white and red. Reflective bands protected with welded wire mesh cage embedded in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate (size of block 30 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm), complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | S&F in repair solar road delineator with 6 LEDs of red/yellow colour housed in plastic body with LEDs, solar-cells, battery and light sensor well protected in polycarbonate sheet; device protected with powder coated wire mesh cage, equipped with solar system mounted over 47mm dia of 16 gauge wall thickness CRC steel tube powder coated of total height 1000mm having sheet foot for firm grip to base. Delineator to have additional reflective bands equipped with solar system workable for 2-3 days (nights) after full charge of 8-10 hours, including excavation in any strata and embedding in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 of size 30cm x 30cm x 40cm, etc complete all as specified and directed. |
