Dismantling and Refixing of Prayon Filter Tray Assembly:After getting process clearence dismantle the splash guards,splash guard support angles/frames, cell control lever, filter hose etc. of the tray to be replaced. Dismantle the CI bearings (inside and outside) of the tray. Lift and transport the tray to the repair bay. Leak test the trays and repair the tray for the damage/cracks etc. Set new CI bearings on the filter shafts. Ensure the bearings suits the filter shafts (bearings have only design clearence with shaft) under the supervision of concerned engineer. Replace the filter grid segments if required and filter cloth. Any modification in the filter grid segments shall be done. After getting clearance,shift and transport the repaired/spare tray assembly to the site and erect the filter tray to position. Position the CI bearings on the frame and properly tighten the base bolts and cover bolts. Mount the control level assembly, filter hose, splash guard frames,splash guards etc. Take trial run and ensure the tray doesnt entangle with other trays/filter support channel. Any rework arising out of this shall be done by the contractor. After successful trial run clear the site and transport the scrap to earmarked area/scrap yard as per instructions.

Repair of Prayon Filter Tray Supporting Frame (Outside)in PA Plant:Collect the required materials from store. Make necessary site arrangements for the work. Dismantle centering rollers (approx 26), assosiated hoses from the section. Feed hoses shall be removed and troughs be adjusted as per requirement. Cut and remove the bottom flange section of frame beam, web sections and SS904L gussets. Top flange section shall be maintained. Fully grind the sections to clear the chips. Take site measurements and cut the prepare the beam section and web from 16 thk and 10/12 thk CS plates respectively. Cutting shall be perfect to suit the filter overall dia. Fit up these new sections at site to match with the existing top section of frame. Full weld the section on to the existing member. Provide stiffners at equal distance in the web section. All welding shall be full welding only. After complete welding the section, weld back the gusset to its original position. Erect back the centering rollers. Adjust the roller height on the eccentric shaft as per site condition to maintain the overall level of the filter. All dismantled hoses/troughs, shall be erected back after completion of the work. Full filter comprises of 12 segments. 1 No means repair of 1 segment completely.

Replacement of Damaged Structurals of Prayon Tray Wash Sections and Slurry Feed Section:Collect required tools and tackles for the work. Make required site arrangements. Fabricate and provide temporary supports for the feed and wash areas. Cut and remove the damaged sections. Take site measurements and repalce all the damaged structuals in these sections with new structurals as per site instruction. Damaged rubber conveyor belts shall be replaced with new spare belts. Belt shall be cut and bolted to the trough sections as per site instructions. Belt holding angles shall be replaced fully. All damaged structurals in these sections shall be replaced completely.

Fabrication and Replacement of Splash Guards of Prayon Filter in PAP:Collect required tools and takels for the work. Collect required materials and consumables from store. Fabricate gusset for fixing splash guard angles from 6/8 mm HV 9 plates for full required quantity as per available sample inside and outside of prayon filter. Fabricate angles from HV9 as per site measurement to fix splash guard inside and outside the filter as required. Spalsh guards shall be made out of used conveyor belts, cut into required shape and size for entire filter area inside and outside. Used belts shall be transported from scrap yard and cut to required size. Angles and flats for hanging the cut conveyor belts shall also be faricated to required quantity in HV9 material to suit the site conditions.Edges and faces shall be prepared and new gussets shall be welded as per site instruction. Angles shall be fixed as per site condition. The cut conveyor belts shall be bolted to the new angles and flats.Trial run shall be taken after complte work and any stuck up shall be cleared. Used angles/gussets from existing splash guards shall be used after assesing their condition by site in charge and necessary repair if any shall be carried out if required.Area measured will be the area of final fabricated area in HV9 material incl guessets,angles,flats etc.

Alignment of Prayon Filter-Make required arrangement for the work. Cut the filter channels inner and outer ends. As per site instructions align the inside and outside of the filter. Skilled assistance for filter alignment shall be provided as much as required. Twin arm roller track shall be patch worked/material filling to be done if required. After complete alignment, weld back the filter channels in the new position and provide new bolts in the shoe area. Any channel if found damaged shall be replaced with new channel. Trail run shall be taken and any correction if required shall be done.
