| 18 | Note for Item No. 1 to 17:-(i) The work is to be executed at Dolphin Hill, which is a hilly terrain having rock formations, thick vegetation, plants, trees, land undulations, etc. Hence, the quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of all such conditions, and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.(ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of the cost of ground clearance, such as removal of encountered rock, cutting and clearing of bushes, vegetation, etc., required for laying of pipelines complete, and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.(iii) The pipelines to be re-routed form the main pumping line from Nausena Baugh Pump House to Dolphin Hill Sumps. Therefore, the work shall be carried out by technically competent workmen under the supervision of a competent engineer experienced in execution of water supply pumping lines. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of the same, and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.(iv) The entire Dolphin Hill residential and OTM accommodation area is dependent on this pumping line for daily water supply. Hence, the new pipeline shall be laid and connected first, and only thereafter the old pipeline shall be removed, so as to avoid disruption of water supply. If, for any reason, the water supply is disturbed for more than six (06) hours, a penal recovery of Rs. 5,000/- per hour shall be recovered from the contractor’s dues. Therefore, the quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of all such provisions, and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.(v) Thrust blocks to hold the pressure line shall be constructed as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. These shall be measured and paid separately under the relevant items of the BOQ. |
| 19 | SCHEDULE OF CREDITNote :- Amount of Rs. 86,400.00 indicated in Tender Documents as Schedule of Credit shall be deducted from the total quoted amount of BOQ. |
