Repairs to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edeges & exc 30mm in depth making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadem, well rammed and sealed with binder (paving bitumen of VG-30) @ 9.80Kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.30mm size and again well ramming (including supply of premixed macadem, binder & chipping) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the clean surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg/10 sqm with paving bitumen of grade VG-10 over existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete, 40mm consolidated thickness using 5.5% paving bitumen VG-30 binder content any penetration by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.Note:- Semi-dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as per design mix. Contractor shall quote his unit rate considering the bitumen contents as per 5.50% any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of 50.00 per kg of binder. No adjustment in price shall be made if the variation is on plus side.
