Supply of 3.5Cx400sqmm, Aluminium, armoured, 1.1KV grade, XLPE insulation, inner&outer sheath PVC, cable. Miscellaneous items required for laying of such cables like heavy duty nylon ties, cable tags, cable route marker etc. as required shall also be supplied by the bidder as a part of cablelaying.

Supply of end termination with single compression brass heavy duty gland and heavy duty tinned copper, long barrel lugs for the cable mentioned at SL No.1.04. Supplyof gland earthing to the nearest earth conductor using 10 SWG copper bare wire shall also be included in the quoted rate. (1 No. means all accessories including gland, lugs, etc required for terminating a cable at one end.

Installation, testing and commissioning of 3.5Cx400sqmm, Aluminium, armoured, 1.1KV grade, XLPE insulation, inner&outer sheath PVC, cable -Cables to be supplied and laid buried in ground, HDPE/RCC Pipes or readymade RCC trenches/ laid on cable trays/cable supports/walls/belowfloor,etc. Cables shall be supported before end terminations. MS item for supporting would not be measured separately. Removal of empty drums, cartons and making the site normal as instructed by Purchaser/ client is included in scope. The erection scope shall also include drilling holes, minor civil work, testing, commissioning etc. An approximate length of 60Mtrs of cable trench in existing area are covered with concrete slabs . These slabs are to be removed for cabling work in trenches in the existing area and the same shall be installed back after cable laying.Cables are measurable and only completed portion between end terminations of work would be measured. Cable schedule shall be prepared. Cable joints shall be avoided .Employer\"s/consultant decision would be final in this regard.Miscellaneous items required for laying of such cables like heavy duty nylon ties, cable tags, cable route marker etc. as required shall also be supplied and installed by the bidder as a part of cable laying.
