| 3 | Preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen of grade VG-10 at 10.0 kg per 10 sq metre of paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |

| 6 | M & L for Applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen of grade VG-10 at 5.0 kg per 10 sq metre of paving bitumen and Bituminous Premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 grade by hot mix process and laid by mechanical paver, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller and compacted to required camber & gradient complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note: (i) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used / approved in excuation of work under this item on plus side.However minus price adjustment shall be made for less quantity of binder content.(ii) Rate of recovery for using less quantity of binder shall be deducted as per market rates as approved by the Accepting Officer. |
| 7 | M&L for Road Marking strips, lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc (Reflective type) of colour white or golden yellow on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with skilled labour on road surface complete as per MORTH specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and forign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 8 | S&F in repairs Road Side Delineator (Reflector) as per approved model and confirming to IRC-67 made of power coated MS Pipe 50mm bore 1000mm height Heavy grade fitted with 2Nos of 100 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made of PMMA material with ABS Round body anti rust & anti theft steel net fixed with bolts, nuts and Epoxy Glue which emits excellent reflection during night time with 3 reflective strips of colour Amber, Red or White as approved by GE and duly embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 of 300 x 300 x 300 mm size fixing MS post and earthwork etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
