SAFE EARTHINGElectrodewith PIPEof not less than 50 mm outer dia (THICKNESS NOT LESS THAN 2.5mm) and two meterlength, The electrode should be ofgalvanised (80 -100 micron) along with earth lead as Galvanised steel strip of size 32 X6 mm7.5 m . The GI Electrode shall be pre-filled with Cristaline Conductive Material (CCM) . The GI electrode shall be surrounded with 25 Kg BackFill compoundto provide maximum contact between the electrode and Back Fill Compound.GI Electrode Shall be tested from CPRI.The earthing pit should be covered withPCC 1:2:4 , type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate ofsize 450 x 450 mm complete all as specified and directed.Note : After completion earth resistance shall be recorded with earth megger and the record should be submitted to to department duly signed by contractor and Engineer in charge. |
