Replacement of Inner rubber panel of granulator A or B at NP Plant.Work involves: Arrangements and transportation of required materials, such as rubber panels of sizes 1000 mm and 1200 mm, bolts, and washers, from the CD store to the NP Mechanical Maintenance Department/worksite.Upon receiving clearance from the Maintenance and Process departments to start the work, the contractor must start the preliminary work. The contractor shall take accurate measurements of the rubber panels to replace the damaged ones. After removing the panel locking strips, the damaged single main longer inner rubber panel shall be removed from the granulator without disturbing the adjacent panels. The required panel shall be prepared with bolt holes using a hollow punch, not by gas cutting, to suit the site conditions. If required, the panel locking stainless steel (SS) strips shall be fabricated and replaced. Final cleaning of the shell shall be done for the proper fitting of the rubber panels. The new rubber panel shall be properly fixed in position and the bolts tightened. After taking a trial run, all bolts and nuts shall be tightened again perfectly as per the instructions of the Officer-in-Charge. The site shall be cleaned after the work is completed. All scrap materials shall be removed from the site, transported to the scrap yard, and deposited in the appropriate areas earmarked for different materials. The damaged rubber panels should be properly rolled and transported to specific locations as per the instructions.

If required, the panel locking stainless steel (SS) strips shall be fabricated and replaced. Final cleaning of the shell shall be done for the proper fitting of the rubber panels.
