| 2 | M&L preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all lose dirt etc on black top surfaces and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (VG -10)@ 5 Kg/10 Sqm with paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 3 | M&L for premix bituminuos macadam (consolidated thickness not more than 75mm )with 4% binder content of paving bitumen of grade (VG -30) by weight of total mix laid and rolled with 8-12 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber up to the outer edges of roads on existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.:-Note :- Cost of testing charges, materials and transportation etc for job Mix formulla shall be inclusive in the unit rate and No extra payment shall be admissible on this account. Mix shall be obtain from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver only. |
| 4 | M&L Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content VG-30 by weight by total mix,rolling with 8-12 tonpower rollerand compacted to required camber and gradient etc complete as specified and directed by Engr in charge. |
| 5 | M&L for preparation of road surfaces and applyingthermoplastic reflective paint in marking of minimunm 2.5mm thick single coat as in centre line and edge lineroad marking in white/yellow (approved colours) colour & shade of 150/100mm width using \"HOT MARK\" termoplastic modern propelled road marking machine incl all ingredients such binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate inter fillers termoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be as per table No. 800.4 of MOST specification incl spraying glass beads etc all as per manufacturers instructions andcomplete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
