| 38 | Supply, install, testing and commissioning of Diesel Engine Generating set 415 volts , 250 KVA, 3 phase, 0.8 power factor 50 Hz, 1500 RPM self-excited self-regulated brushless, AC generator with AMF panel installed including acoustic enclosure suitable for ambient condition and confirming to condition under IS 10001/10002advanced digital generator controller having meter and super silent acoustic sound proof canopy as per MOEF/ CPCB-IV+ norms with following:-(i) The capacity of generating set shall be not after due derating factors as per relevant ISI design(ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of final successfully acceptance test.(iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hour test run at site inclusive of 1 hour on 10% over load in the presence of rep of Accepting officerarrangements are to made by the conctractor for test at site at his own cost.(A) Alternator:- Standard design alternator rated at 250 KVA net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3 Phase, 4 wire, 415 volts, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self exicited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with widing in pole faces, insulating class ‘H’ and voltage regulation of +1% tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to IS- 13364.(i) Insualation class – ‘H’ +50% (ii) Temparature raise class – ‘H’ (iii) Excitation : Self Excited(iv) Regulation performance : The voltage is kept constant with + 1% manualvoltage adjustment within + 5%(v) Frequency regulation +1% |
| 39 | (B) Diesel Engine:- Adequate capacity of Diesel engine suitable to 250 KVA DG set and 312.5 BHP based on manufacturers recommendation, coolant cooled to drive independently to above alternator and after considering derating as per site condition after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories, directly coupled through flexible coupling multicylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM as per relevant ISI 10001/10002 with an overload cap of 10% for one hour in 12 hours continues running complete for safe handing and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:-(i) Fly wheel with housing(ii) Cooling system : - Mounted radiator with fan & belts.(iv) Exhaust System: - All as per the standard design of the manufacturer with the followings:(a) Exhaust gas turbo charger type in built.(b) Exhaust manifold (c) Silencer : Residential type (soundless)(d) Bellows(v) Fuel System :- Fuel injection system with fuel injections, fuel injection solenoid switch / nozzles / governor electronic types capable for 1% speed/ frequency regulation. |

| 42 | (C) Accoustic enclosure: - Enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of accoustically treated panel housed in sheet steel will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom built to suitable conditions with the following features: -(D) MICROPROCESSOR BASED AMF CONTROL PANEL The AMF Control panel shall be made of 16SWG CRCA Sheet, indoor type, dust and vermin proof, Pre-Treated and Powder coated - suitable for 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 50Hz system to be fitted inside Acoustic Enclosure. • Panel shall consist of the following Equipment’s: • Microprocessor based AMF Controller with display features for Engine & Alternator parameters. • Current Transformers of suitable ratio. • MCB/HRC Fuse for Control protection. • Cluster Type Indicating Lamps for DG ON/Load ON/Mains ON. • MCCB of Suitable Rating -1 Set with 2 Sets of Power Contactor – For Mains & DG Incomer. • FRLS Type Copper Flexible cable for Switchgear Inter connections.(i) Custom built product for various equipments, which ensure the optimum performance without duration.(ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of final successfully acceptance test. |
| 43 | (iii) 2mm thick CRCA sheets to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absorption: Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets (iv) Sheet metal components of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against weathering action.(v) Fuel System :- Fuel injection system with fuel injections, fuel injection solenoid switch /nozzles/ governor electronic types capable for 1% speed/ frequency regulation.(vi) Well designed ventilation system to be provided to pump up the heat in the chamber efficiently.(vii) effective acoustic/ weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets to be used.(viii) Working space is to be provided around the equipment for easy maintenance/ repairs.(ix) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exit of fuel lines cable to be incorporated in the enclosure as per the requirement.(x) See through transparent window (glass or acrylic in front of engine panel to be provided for monitoring the operation).(xi) Ducting if required, bellows, Mechanical hardware like locks, hinges fasteners etc to be provided.(xii) Deliverables 75 nDBA @ 1 mtr at 75% load under free field conditions. The temp inside the enclosure will be within 7 degree centigrade above ambient temp. |
| 44 | (xiii) The enclosure should be provided with tube light fitting and lamp for inside illumination.(xiv) The batteries should be provided with tube light fitting and lamp for inside illumination.(xv) The DG set should be provided with external emergencystop push button.(xvi) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre- treatment process. The powder coating shade should be Genset Green. The base frame should be painted with epoxy base black shade.The following items are deemed to be included in the rate quoted :-(D) Civil Works:- All civil works including PCC plat form and related to foundations including of panel and equipments including making good the existing structure of distribed during installation and commissioning of genset. The depth of the foundation shall be minium 300mm with anti vibration pads or as recommended by the manufacturer. Note: - The contractor shall arrange for artificial load for testing for final testing of DG set at site and the cost is deemed to be included in quoted rate. |
