Plates (Marine Grade, Shell steel only) of 12MM/10MM/8 MM thickness will be used for renewal of platings. The M.S. Plates are to be of approved type for Ship Construction (No.IS 2062). All supporting documents of SAIL steel to be submitted in Original. IACSapproved (ESAB) welding rod to be used. Before commencement any plate renewal. certificate from manufacture to be submitted and a physical inspection of to be carried out jointly. |

Holding plated to be strengthened by fitting stiffeners on top and bottom as required. New EPDM, \"D\" Type fenders (Solid, No hallow in center) are to be fitted back with new GI nuts, washers and bolts at a space 0.5mtrs between the bolts. |
