Dismantling / Cutting of W5 Heat Exchanger Tubes and Patch work of shell & Tube sheets if, any Make necessary site arrangements including scaffolding for the work.Cut and dismantle tubes safely. All tube sheet holes must be cleaned completely of residue or debris using brushes or grinding.A sample tube shall be inserted through the holes after cleaning to ensure proper passage for the tubes. Clean the tube sheet area, baffle plate and bottom plate area. Patch work of shell, baffle plate and tube sheets shall be done as per instruction of the Engineer -in- charge. Repair / replacement ofbottom tube sheet support shall be done as per the drawings. Damaged / removed tubes shall be transported to scrap yard and the area shall be clean and free of any scraps. Affer removal of all tubes, top cone need to be fixed back and one run of welding shall be done. All duct openings including the cone area shall be blinded and all arrangements/providing nipples/tubes etc. for nitrogen filling/preservation shall be done. W5 Heat exchanger shall be shifted to ear marked area as per the instruction from Engineer -In Charge after completing all works.
