H-751 One time operational check of QRIBs is to be undertaken by PAC firm and report to be submitted. Following various essential aspects to be covered: 1. Hull plating, transom and stern fitting for cracks, corrosion, looseness and material failure.2.Tightness and sealing of hull penetration, drain plugs and NRV.3.Integrity of buoyancy chambers.4.Water tightness of engine bay hatches, covers and gaskets.5.Deck drains to be checked for blockage or malfunction. 6.Leakage around steering cables and fuel line fittings.7.Ensure engine exhaust and cooling water outlets are free from openings.8. Bilge/ de-flooding pump and integrity of shaft seal.9. Check boat Lowering and hoisting mechanism including frequency of load test. 10. Availability and condition of life-saving appliances.11. Bonding/ joints of hull sections for separation, weakness or damage.
