| 3 | Notes for Item No 1.01 & 1.02 :-(i) Any material required for attending complaints shall be measured & separately under respectvie items here - in- after.(ii) The complaints shall be attended and the defetcs shall be rectified by a team of matric qualified having minimum 03 years experienced electrician/Plumber as applicable assisted with adequate number of helpers as directed by Engineer-in-charge.(iii) The complaints shall be attended & defect shall be rectified within 08 hrs commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint failing which a penalty @ Rs 200/- per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon/imposed on the contractor and recovery shall be made from contractor\"s dues.(iv) In case, after checking & attending the defect, it is not possible to rectify the defect within 08 hrs, the facts shall be brought to the notice of Engineer-in-charge by the contractor/his rep.IfEngineer-in- charge is satisfied with contractors view, no recovery will be made.(v)While attending the complaint of water supply if earth workis required then the same shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate itemof Sch \"A\" of BOQ. However, no extra payments shall be made for dewatering.(vi)Cutting of GI pipe in position and threadingis also deemed to be included in the job rate (Fittings and fixtures will be measured and paid separetely under respective items of Sch as \"supply only\").(vii) All T&P required for attending the Complaints shall be provided by the contractor.) |
| 4 | (viii) The Pipe Fitter shall always be in possession of die set complete with cutters,Taps, Pipe wrench, Chain wrench, Caulking tools, complete set of spanners and ladders etc asrequired at site.(ix)The Electrician shall always in possession of all Electrician tools, LT Megger, Earth Tester, Multimeter, Crimpling tool, insulation tape, Hand gloves etc required at site. (x) Rate for taking down/out existing & fittings & fixtures and refixing to make it functional shall be into account. All the fitting & fixtures shall be measured and paid supply only in respective items.(xi) A BOO ordered for material procured by contractor and taken on charge through RV and complaint wise dockets will maintained and USR\"s duly vetted by AO GE (E/M) for procured materials issued for incorporation in work will be mentioned in BOO.
