Excavating over areas by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) exc 3.00 mtr and not exc 4.50 mtr deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil all as specified.

Removing excavated material ( soil) to a distance not exc 500 mtr and not exc 1.50 KM and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 mtr above the stating point as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material ( soil) to a distance not exc 1.5 KM and not exc 5.00 KM and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 mtr above the stating point as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for filling craters with broken stone boulders or quarried stone (boulders of size 100 mm mixed with 63 mm size broken graded stone aggregate), interstices filled, surface formed, rolled with power roller and consolidated to required gradient and chamber all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 200 mm thick (compacted thickness) wet mixed macadam (WMM) broken stone course aggregae of grading 2 (40 mm to 63 mm) or size of grading 3 (20 mm to 50 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to required chamber level super elevation as required with power roller all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced wet mixed macadam (WMM) by brushing with wire brushes by removing cake, mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally cleaning the surface with compressed air for removal all loose dust dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bituminous emulsion grade conforming to IS-8887 @ 1 Kg per Sqm by mechanical sprayer complete all as specified.

M&L for providing 150 mm thick (consolidated thickness) hot mix dense asphaltic concrete (DAC Grading-1) in three layers of 50 mm thick each layer using VG-30 Bitumen and quantityas derived from job mixed formula subject to minimum 5.5% binder by weight of total mix, laid rolled complete all as specified. Note:- Mixing shall be done in Hot Mix Plant as approved by GE and laying shall be carried out with mechanical paver. No extra payment shall be made for any plus side deviation in quantity of bitumen if the same required beyond 5.5% as per Job mix formula and the cost of additional bitumen shall also deemed to be included in unit rate of this item.
