Contractor shall make necessary arrangments while carryout the work and take all necessary precautions to avoid any mishappening as directed by Engineer-in-charge .2. The contractor shall obtain and maintain , at his own cost, an insurance policy under the Workmen\"s compensation Act,1923, or Employee\"s Compensation Act, as applicale, and any other statutory requirements, for all workers employed by him on the site. This policy shall cover all liabilities of the contractor arising out of injury,disability, or death of workers during the course of employment. The insurance must be valid for the entire duration of the contract and proof of the same shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-charge before commencment of work.Nothing shall be paid extra on this account. |
