1	M&L for Repair / Servicing / Maint of Centrifugal Pump Sets installed at Shapur/AFA for smooth operation of Pump Sets and ensuring the serviceability with & including replacement of any minor spares like gland packing, gaskets, O Rings, Keys, nuts, bolts, washers etc. for the following capacities / models / makes. The contractor to ensure that the parts/ spares considered as replacement must be brought from the OEM / Auth Supplier / Dealer for serviceability of the Pumps complete all as specified and as directed to the entire satisfaction fo the Engr-In-Charge.
2	150 HP capacityModel DSM-6, Kirloskar make Centrifugal Pump Set installed at HMT Pump House No 1.
3	100 HP capacityModel 125/40, Kirloskar make Centrifugal Pump Set installed at AFA pump House No 2.
4	90 HP capacityModel 125/40, Kirloskar make Centrifugal Pump Set installed at AFA pump House No 2.
5	5 HP capacity, Model DV 40, Kirloskar make Vacuum Pump Set.
6	The following Pump Maintenance has to be carried out for Item No 1.01 to 1.04
7	Checking of all the moving parts and lubricating the same with grease.
8	Checking the serviceability of gland coupling, gland packing and replacing the same if damaged etc. to arrest leakage.
9	Checking of serviceability of pressure gauges etc.
10	Arresting all water leakages to prevent water losses.
11	Checking and tightening of coupling alignment.
12	Removing the unsv spares and fixing with new spares including testing etc.
13	The following MotorMaintenance has to be carried out for Item No 1.01 to 1.04
14	Checking the lubricant in the bearing and greasing if required.
15	Checking and tightening of cable lugs / connections if found loose.
16	Cleaning the slip rings / brushes etc. and replacing the same if required.
17	Checking of motor efficiency and also ensure that no abnormal sound is coming from motor and checking alignment also.
18	Removing the unsv spares and fixing with new spares including testing etc.
19	Important Notes for Item Nos 1.00 to 1.04 :
20	(a) Unit rates quoted for Item Nos 1.01 to 1.04 is deemed to be inclusive of removing the unsv spares and fixing of new ones incl testing complete all as specified and as directed to the entire satisfaction fo the Engr-In-Charge.
21	(b) The major spares required for Pump & Motor will be measured and paid separately under respective items as supply only.
22	(c) Expendable stores like cotton waste / cleaning materials, lubricants, gland packing, gaskets, O rings, Keys materials etc. and transportation to and from site to work shop etc. is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.
23	(d) The contractor should ensure that any complaint / breakdown of pumps / motors has to be attended within 24 hrs from the time of intimation/reporting about the same either by telephonic or electronic mode by deploying skilled tradesman. During urgent / emergent cases information/ intimation about the breakdown will be conveyed to the Contractor through Telephonic/ Electronic modes only & the same shall be treated as an Official Intimation. In the event of any delay beyond above mentioned tiime limit without prior intimation or genuine cause, penalty at the rate of twice the quoted rate for each un-attended complaint / breakdown shall be recovered.
24	(e) The contractor / firm is required to visit the site prior to quoting of the subject items/ work so as to ascertain the actual ground requirements. Any further query at a later date shall not be entertained & responsibility of the same shall rest on the contractor/ firm.
25	(f) Anything missed out in the technical specifications but technically required for efficient working is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.
26	M&L for repairs of Oil Immersed Slipring / Star Delta Starter installed at Shapur / AFA Pump House for smooth operation of the Pump Sets by opening up servicing & repairing etc. and with & including replacement of any spares required for operation of the Slipring / Star Delta Starter like nuts, bolts, washers, checking the alignment of contacts, Contactors, Wirings & connecting up the electric connections, refixing etc. for the following capacities / models / makes. The contractor to ensure that the parts/ spares considered as replacement must be brought from the OEM / Auth Supplier / Dealer for serviceability of the Oil Immersed Slipring / Star Delta Starter complete all as specified and as directed to the entire satisfaction fo the Engr-In-Charge.Note : Starter will be maintained for smooth operation with the existing components, any components found defective will be replaced and paid under relevant items.
27	Star Delta Starter suitable for 150 HP Pump Set capacity. Make : Kilburn/MEI installed at HMT Pump House No 1.
28	Star Delta Starter suitable for 100 HP Pump Set capacity. Make : Kilburn/MEI installed at AFA Pump House No 2.

30	Important Notes for Item Nos 2.00 to 2.03 :

86	M&L for disconnecting of the suction and delivery pipe lines and electric connections of centrifugal / Monoblock / Vaccum Pump Sets, Single / Multistage etc. and removing it from its existing position carefully and transporting the same to the work shop, dismantling / opening up the pump and motor for inspection, repairs / replacing the worn out unserviceable parts with new ones including cleaning, lubricating, replacing the minor items / spares like, necessary packing materials, studs, nuts, bolts, washers etc. & reassembling the Pump Sets including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved grade / colour, transporting back and refixing the same in its original position including connecting up the water and electric connections, commissioning & testing complete all as specified and as directed to the entire satisfaction fo the Engr-In-Charge for the following capacities / type :
