(Total usage of bitumen 27.5kg / M3). |
| 7 | Providing 20mm thick pre-mixed chipping carpet using departmental materials (broken stone, emulsion & bitumen) after thoroughly cleaning the base withcompressed air ,wire brushes , brass brooms and applying an emulsion priming coat of 6 Kg /10M2 and spreading the hot pre-mix (formed of 0.27M3 of departmental 12mm metal and 12.96kgof bitumen per 10M2) rolling to dense surface, then spreading the seal coat (comprising of a hot pre-mix of .09M3 of 6mm departmental metal and 8.64Kg of bitumen per 10M2)again rolling including the cost of , oils and fuel , hire of brass brooms , camber board , roler and other machines,watching, lighting and other charges etc. complete(Total usage of bitumen is 21.6 Kg per 10M2,andemulsion 6Kg/10 M2). |
| 8 | Providing an extra premix layer for leveling the severely damaged portion of road and to obtain a level surface to receive chipping carpet using departmental materials viz; 12 mm stone aggregate ,bitumen @ 48 Kg/Cu.m of metal & bitumen emulsion @ 6.25 kg/m3 for tack coat) after forming the potholes to regular shape, removing loose and defective material, applying emulsion with sprayer as tack coat,laying hot premix and rolling untilcoarse aggregate has a firm surface including hire for roller, boiler, sprayers,wire brushes, pouring cans etc, cost of fuel, oil etc, lighting, watching and other sundry stores etc.complete including charges for picking the existing damaged road surface to the required depth and removing all waste/earth etc.from the road surface (Measurement will be based on stack measurement vide item of 12 mm broken stone) |
| 9 | Transporting excess spoil earth, gravel, sand, broken stones, split stones, laterite stones, blasted rubble upto 45 DM3 size etc. by lorry to places pointed out upto a maximum distance of 5KM including loading with a lead of 50m and lift upto 1.5m at each loading point etc. complete. |
| 10 | Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller (8 -12tonne capacity) to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer in-charge, with material conforming to Grade-III (size range 26.5 mm to 0.075 mm) having CBR Value-20. |
